I have added a few pics from our production
of "Red Magnolia". I will be adding more as soon! Check
the Projects section for more info.
I also added a clip from a video of Wes
Studi and his band, Firecat of Discord. I shot this video in the Ryman
Auditorium in Nashville Tenn. I had permission from the manager to do
so. The video was shot for The
Studigroup, Wes Studi's fan club.
It is hosted on his fan club
website. I didn't have any control of the lighting or the sound and I was
also restricted to move around as a request of the manager. So what you
see is what you get! I wasn't pleased with it at all but Wes said he liked
it so I don't feel so bad! The video is not for sale as agreed by me to
the manager of the Ryman Auditorium.
It is the sole copyright of The
Firecat of Discord band. Thanks to the manager of the Ryman for
allowing me to do this!
This is a small clip of one of the songs
done by the Perry Walton band during the concert shoot that we produced.
The concert was shot with two cameras, a Cannon Gl1 and a Cannon XL1s.
Considering the lighting problems on the stage, I think it came out pretty
good. Both cameras were white balanced before the shoot. Originally
we had the house sound routed from an output on the sound board to a mini disk
recorder. Well, the mini disk recorder failed to capture the tracks
and we were forced to rely on the camera mic of the house sound for the
completed track. It turned out pretty well considering. The
file is about 6.5 megs.
